HISTORY

The Campus opened in 1982 and consisted of the following schools:

The coloured representation of the Logo further reinforces this theme. At the opening of the Campus the four coloured components of the Logo represented the following:-

Spence Primary School

Red

Heysen Primary School

Male face – Hans Heysen

Due to the demographics in the area, on the 1st January 2008 the two State schools merged and the school is now called Thiele Primary School.

The Logo, prepared by Mr. Lou Rossato in readiness for the opening of the Campus in 1982 symbolises the integration of different educational systems in the three schools comprising the total Campus.

Since the amalgamation of the two Government schools in 2008, the Logo now also represents the Campus Pre-School. The colours represent:-
