Parish

School of the Nativity is committed to the spiritual enrichment of our students and has a close association with the Aberfoyle Park Parish adjacent to our school. Both school and parish work in partnership to involve our children, parents and staff in the life of the parish. This is achieved by having our students celebrate weekly Masses in the church on a class rotation basis allowing students of all faiths to experience the rich traditions and practices of the Catholic faith. We encourage families to attend their child’s class Mass which is always followed by morning tea for parents and students.

We have parish and school community involvement through St Vincent De Paul and Project Compassion lead by our year 7 Student Leadership Team.

Students have the opportunity to prepare for and celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Holy Communion, through the parish.
