St. Joseph Building

Named in honour of the Order of St Joseph Nuns associated with our school, the St Joseph Building caters for students in years 3 to 5 and our Japanese classroom. As our newest facility, our students enjoy the flexible learning opportunities in this spacious, modern, contemporary building with retractable sliding doors on each of the four comfortably furnished classrooms. The design of this building enables different learning spaces to be created. All classes can be together in the central shared flexible learning space or simply have the glass sliding doors closed for individual or shared class learning.

Students also have access to the spacious, fully equipped kitchen in the St Joseph Building for cooking lessons and science experiments. At other times our parent community use the kitchen for morning teas and social gatherings with the space opening onto our covered outdoor learning area.

Students from year 3 use their own laptop through our BYOD (Bring your own device) program. Students also have access to a pool of laptops. Students are able to work on the laptops connected to our network wirelessly from anywhere inside and outside the St Joseph Building. This allows students to take technology with them where ever the learning is taking place.
