Studies of Society & Environment

Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE) is an inquiry based learning area focussing on the four strands of Time, Continuity and Change; Place, Space and Environment; Societies and Cultures and Social Systems.  Students are encouraged to think critically about, and engage positively in their school and wider global communities. SOSE is informed by such subjects as History, Geography, Social Studies, Economics, Politics, Legal studies, Religion Studies, Environmental Education, Aboriginal Studies and Asian Studies. Our teachers are currently undertaking professional development in the History and Geography National Curriculum which will be implemented in 2013 and 2014.
